36 Weeks 1 Day
The final sneak peak at my baby boy before he leaves his cozy living quarters inside my tummy. According to the ultrasound he’s about seven pounds right now. I still have a month to go before I hit forty weeks. It’s possible that I may end up birthing a nine pounder!

The hubby is putting the finishing touches on the nursery. It looks great. He did an awesome job and it means the world to me that he worked so hard on his son’s room. It’s the best room in the house…not to mention the coziest. The blue walls are very soothing and that’s exactly what I need right now. Once the closet is gutted, painted, and fitted with an organizer….the room will be complete. Well...just add baby.
I’d be lying if I said I’m ready. Sure I have all the baby gear but am I prepared to deliver a big baby boy sans drugs? All the breathing and meditation techniques in the world aren’t going to take the sting out of that. God be with Bryan…he’s going to need all the help he can get. He’ll be my support and my coach through the whole ordeal. I’m going to try my darndest to go easy on him.
My dear hubby is probably wishing that he’d bought stock in the brand of milk we use. I’ve been drinking it by the jug. It’s unbelievable how much milk we’ve gone through these past few weeks. The poor man is running out to get milk almost every other day it seems like. Our little man should come out with some very strong bones. From what I can tell…he’s already pretty strong muscle-wise. I half expect to wake up with a broken rib most days.
It's time for me to say goodbye to ABS National Auto Services and begin my job as housewife and Mommy. ABS has been my home away from home for the past five years. While I won't miss the stress...I'm really going to miss the people. I made some wonderful friends there. That company has some awesome women working for them. They have a place in my heart forever. I can't wait for my baby boy to meet them.
I'm so very blessed. Thank you God for deaming me worthy to have this baby boy. I love him with every fiber of my being. He's going to have a wonderful daddy too. We are both thankful that the pregnancy has gone so well. We can't wait to meet him!
